Michele
Hi, my name is Michele and I have been working at Clarkson since 2018, initially as the Toddler Room Leader. I have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
Working with children has always been a great passion of mine and after having my own children that passion grew even more. Understanding children and how they each learn in different and unique ways has always driven my focus to make sure that all children are included in every aspect of the day.
Having the understanding that each child is unique and that each child is valued is very important to me – we are raising and teaching the future, and I believe we as Early Childhood Educators play a vital role in their journey.
My biggest goal every day is not only to have a great environment for all the children but also to create a great workplace for our wonderful staff. Having a culture of positive collaboration will not only create a fantastic atmosphere but also be reflective in the children’s learning.
Watching the bonds grow between children and Educators is one of the best things to see every day, to help them feel comfortable and to have that sense of belonging here, to watch how children seeks comfort with someone other than their family member is a great reward.
They say it takes a village to raise a child…
We would love to have you as part of our Village at Care For Kids Clarkson.

Nourished Beginnings
Healthy Meals & Nutrition
At Care for Kids, we provide nourishing, whole food meals to support children’s health and development. We partner with Nourished Beginnings, a Perth-based early childhood nutrition specialist, to deliver carefully planned menus using fresh ingredients with minimal processing, additives and added sugar.
Our whole food approach helps children develop a positive relationship with food by understanding where it comes from and the nourishment it provides. While ingredients may occasionally vary due to availability, we always ensure meals align as closely as possible with our healthy nutrition principles.

Service FAQs
What are your operating hours?
Our centre is open Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 6:00pm, 52 weeks of the year. We're only closed on public holidays, so you can count on us to be here for your family all year round. We understand that families have busy schedules, and our extended hours are designed to give you the flexibility you need.
How do I enrol my child?
Enrolling is simple! You can start the process by clicking the Enrol Now button on this page or visiting our Enrolments page. From there you'll complete an online enrolment form and our team will be in touch to confirm your child's place, answer any questions, and arrange an orientation visit so your child feels comfortable before their first day.
What does a typical day look like for my child?
Every day at our centre is designed to balance play, learning, rest, and connection. Children are welcomed warmly each morning and move through a blend of intentional learning experiences, creative play, outdoor exploration, mealtimes, and quiet time -all guided by our qualified educators. Our program is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, where children are seen as capable, curious learners. Throughout the week you'll receive updates and photos through Storypark, keeping you connected to your child's learning journey and the moments that matter most.
