Melina

Hi, I’m Melina! I am the OSHC manager at East Wanneroo Primary School and am currently in my second year of studying Primary Education at Edith Cowan University. Being part of a supportive and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow is something I am truly passionate about.

As the middle child and only girl in my family, I have always been surrounded by energy and excitement - especially with our two American Staffies keeping us on our toes! Outside of work, I enjoy painting nature-inspired scenes, traveling (Paris and Santorini are my favourite places so far!), and exploring new restaurants. I am a big foodie, and my ultimate comfort dish is a classic, creamy carbonara.

I love creating fun and meaningful experiences for the children in our care, and I’m excited to continue learning and growing alongside them!

Nourished Beginnings

Healthy Meals & Nutrition

At Care for Kids, we provide nourishing, whole food meals to support children’s health and development. We partner with Nourished Beginnings, a Perth-based early childhood nutrition specialist, to deliver carefully planned menus using fresh ingredients with minimal processing, additives and added sugar.

Our whole food approach helps children develop a positive relationship with food by understanding where it comes from and the nourishment it provides. While ingredients may occasionally vary due to availability, we always ensure meals align as closely as possible with our healthy nutrition principles.
