Sharon

Hello, my name is Sharon. I am a mother of three grown children and have three precious grandchildren. As the eldest of four, children have always been a major part of my life, and went on to babysit, be a nanny to three children and to gain a Bachelor of teaching for kindergarten through to year seven.

I have been with Care for Kids since 2019, the majority of that at North Woodvale OSHC. In addition, I cover lunches at Woodvale CBC and between our centres have watched many children grow, form relationships, learn, love, laugh and succeed.

Developing relationships with both families and children is paramount and providing children with a welcoming, safe and caring environment helps provides peace of mind for parents and offers the feeling of a play date for children.

I believe, by working with families, supporting learning from school and providing fun engaging activities for children that it supports the adage that it takes a village to raise a child.

Nourished Beginnings

Healthy Meals & Nutrition

At Care for Kids, we provide nourishing, whole food meals to support children’s health and development. We partner with Nourished Beginnings, a Perth-based early childhood nutrition specialist, to deliver carefully planned menus using fresh ingredients with minimal processing, additives and added sugar.

Our whole food approach helps children develop a positive relationship with food by understanding where it comes from and the nourishment it provides. While ingredients may occasionally vary due to availability, we always ensure meals align as closely as possible with our healthy nutrition principles.
