Meet Amy, the Centre Manager

Hello, I am Amy the Centre Manager here at Care for Kids Woodvale.

I have been working in the industry as an Early Childhood Teacher after graduating with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Studies from Ireland.

Working in this sector is not a job but a full-time passion.

I strive to provide excellent care, creating and promoting high quality educational programs to foster the children’s learning and development.

I believe that the early years learning is the most important foundation block we can provide our children to help them grow to be future leaders and ambassador for our community and the greater world.

I enjoy building strong relationships with families as this bond allows us to work as a team to help, guide and promote personalised care for each child’s individual learning journey.

A childhood should be fun, exciting, and spontaneous with endless opportunities. I am a big advocate for child led, play based learning. I support and promote the theory of Reggio Emilia. Children have 100 languages in which they use to understand, express, and explore the world around them.

The environment in which they learn in is valued as a ‘third teacher’. We support and guide this practice by providing a warm nurturing environment that is safe and inviting with endless opportunities.

The team here at Woodvale are passionate, professional, and dedicated to our families.

We strive to provide a home away from home experience and we look forward to meeting you all and welcoming you to our Woodvale family.
